FAQ?
Can you pull a CEA into the officer flight pay?
All HAF rated aircrew are trying to pull CEAs into the officer flight pay (AvIP) and are "extremely interested" in CEA retention, and from the MG, "there's really no reason it won't get approved" There will be a program in the next year or two to offer bonuses to Airmen taking some of the worst assignments (Cannon, Holloman, etc)
How long do you have to be a CEA to fly?
CEA candidates must accomplish at least 60 months (5 years) of operational flying during the first 10 years of aviation service, or 96 months (8 years) of operational flying duties during the first 15 years of aviation service to apply for a waiver. 2.6.1.3.
Does the Air Force pay for continued aviation service?
Eligible active-duty and reserve component officers may receive aviation incentive pay and aviation bonuses for continued service. Eligible regular and reserve component enlisted service members may receive critical skill incentive pay for continued aviation service when they serve in an aeronautical career field or a critical skill area.
How are Air Force aviation incentive pay rates calculated?
